Adobe Coworker: bring marketing insights into team planning

Adobe has added Gemini and Databricks access to its marketing assistant. Check the existing licence, usage credits and read-only limits before building another reporting connection.

The useful part

If your team already has Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker, ask the marketing lead and administrator to compare a supported connection with the reporting work you were planning to build. Confirm access and credit use first.

Check before building another reporting connection

If your marketing team keeps copying campaign results into another AI tool for planning, review Adobe’s latest connections before paying to build a duplicate. Existing customers may already have a supported route to those insights.

On November 4, Adobe announced that CX Enterprise Coworker is available in Gemini for business and Databricks Genie, alongside existing access through ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot. Its current setup guide names Gemini Enterprise and Databricks Genie One.

This is aimed at teams already using Adobe’s business marketing systems. It is not a feature included with a personal Gemini account or a general Adobe creative subscription.

Confirm the licences and usage cost

Adobe’s guide requires Coworker to be provided for your organization, your own Adobe access, Experience Platform, and at least one of Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer or Customer Journey Analytics. You also need the supported AI platform.

Adobe says using Coworker in these platforms has no additional connection charge. It is included in the Coworker licence and draws from the same AI usage credits. That does not make the underlying Adobe licence, host platform or extra usage free.

Have the budget owner check the remaining credit allowance and the cost under your agreement. Compare the cost of repeated questions with the reporting process you use today.

Use the connection for the right job

The setup guide describes read-only insights using the permissions attached to your Adobe identity. These connections do not modify customer data, and they do not include every capability available in Coworker itself.

That makes campaign reviews, audience questions and performance summaries more suitable starting points than a plan to launch or change campaigns automatically. Adobe’s broader announcement discusses actions across systems, but that should not override the narrower limits of the connection you are installing.

In Gemini Enterprise, an administrator requests access through the marketplace. Adobe supplies a private offer at no connection cost, then enables the assistant after approval. Databricks setup requires the relevant installation permissions and approved Adobe sign-in settings.

Amazon Quick, IBM and Snowflake are described as expected soon in the announcement. Some setup instructions already exist. Confirm actual account access before treating a future platform as ready for daily work.

Keep the reporting decision practical

Our perspective: a supported connection is worth comparing with a custom reporting project when it answers the same business question. It will not replace work that needs different information, tighter controls or actions the connection cannot perform.

The useful outcome is a planning conversation with less copying and a result the team can check. We have not tested the integrations or measured time savings.

  1. This week, have the marketing lead identify one repeated campaign question and the report used to answer it.
  2. Ask the Adobe administrator to confirm the required products, account access and supported platform.
  3. Compare one permitted answer against the original report, including the dates and definitions behind its numbers.
  4. Review usage credits and approval needs before deciding whether to expand, keep existing reports or commission a different connection.
