Antigravity's model change: keep your practice moving

November 2 is the listed removal date for three older AI choices in Antigravity. Check your account's available options, save your work and try one familiar task.

The useful part

Keep your project notes and a small task you can repeat. They help you choose and check the AI available to you as access changes.

Check the choice before your next session

Before your next building session in Google Antigravity, open its AI model selector and check which choices your account can use. A model is the AI system that handles your request. Save your work and keep a short note of the task you want to continue.

Google's current model guide lists November 2, 2026 as the removal date for Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS-120b. The guide does not give an exact cutoff hour. This is a scheduled change to access through Antigravity, rather than an announcement made today.

If one of those choices has been part of your learning routine, check the replacement on a familiar task before giving it more work. You can make that comparison small enough to understand.

Read the announcement: Google Antigravity: Choose a model.

Look at the account you actually use

Google's table lists newer Claude Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5 on paid, non-trial Google AI Pro subscriptions, Google AI Ultra and Enterprise. Trial Pro access is different. An October 15 reply on Google's developers forum describes the Jio promotional Pro offer as an extended trial and explains how its access changes when the older models retire.

The model guide also lists Gemini 3.8 Flash across all its plan categories. A missing familiar model can therefore be a reason to review the options already included in your account.

Before paying for a different plan, confirm that it includes the choice you want and check its current usage allowance. Keep the decision connected to a task you need to complete and the support you need while learning.

Use a task you can compare

Choose a practice task that has a visible result, such as explaining a form or improving its confirmation message. Use made-up information and keep the starting version. You are looking for a result you can check and an explanation you can follow.

  1. Save the current work and write the next change in ordinary language.
  2. Select an available model and ask it for a plan before it changes anything.
  3. Try the result yourself, including missing information and a failed action.
  4. Record what worked, what needs correction and the next question to ask.

Keep the useful part of your progress

Our perspective is that a clear project brief and a repeatable check are useful skills to carry between AI tools. They give you a way to judge your next session without having to relearn the whole project.

If a change in access leaves you unsure where to continue, bring your project note and practice result to someone who can guide you. Those details make it easier to choose a useful next step together.
